The Henryetta Historical Society performs a significant and valuable community service.  It preserves and communicates the heritage of the past to the present and to the future, and it is frequently the principal storehouse of information on the history of Henryetta.

During the months of March and April of 2017 people from various parts of the country have stopped in Henryetta to visit the Henryetta Territorial Museum.  They have came from New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Virginia, Connecticut and from California.

From coast to coast Henryetta Territorial Museum is a stopping place and for various reasons.  Two were travelling from Virginia to California after college graduation.  They visited simply because one of their names was Henrietta (spelt with and “i”).  Other have visited Henryetta because of family research.

The Henryetta Territorial Museum mission is to identify, collect, preserve and exhibit the superlative historical resources of Henryetta and surrounding communities.  Because of that mission, those traveling across America have an educational center that reflects the rich multi-cultural heritage of Henryetta.

Come on out and visit your Territorial Museum and re-discover Henryetta
