The Henryetta Historical Society invites you to attend a book signing event at the Territorial Museum on Saturday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to noon.
Members of the Society, along with acting museum director Thomas Hudson, will host the event.
Rachael Sweeden released her first children’s story nationwide in December 2010. “Pickleberry Bloat” follows the story of Billy and his dog Saber, who discover a sweet and sour treat hidden in a bush.
But along with this sweet and sour treat comes an unwelcome feeling in their stomachs. Young readers learn if Mom and Dad’s concoction will save Billy and Saber in this fun rhyming story that will teach children about proper eating habits.
Sweeden resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Zack, and her giant dog, Clyde. She enjoys any form of creativity and is known for her wild imagination.
“Pickleberry Bloat” was published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, and is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting BarnesandNoble.com or amazon.com.
The Territorial Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The museum is located at 410 W. Moore. Call 918 652-7112 for more information.
